CoffeeShop Editing Tutorial: Action & Texture Combos

I have a lot of free Photoshop/PSE actions on this site. If you have download many of them (or purchased them all in one download to support this site) you probably get overwhelmed. I don't even remember what most of the ones I have created even do!

I love using textures on my images, but often the images need a little bit of additional editing to turn them into gorgeous art. Today I wanted to show you a few different edits on the same image using some of my favorite actions. This is only scratching the surface, I have hundreds of actions on this site. :-)

And unlike many phone apps, you can completely customize these actions.

This image (original) simply has the Rosalind texture in soft light. This is pretty but basic. So I decided to run a few of my color actions and one B&W action and see which is my favorite edit. I just started going down the list alphabetically.

I think the ones I love best are Chamomile Tea and Bluebell Mist. I also love the B&W version. But they all look gorgeous and are frame-worthy! I hope this encourages you to start playing with my actions to create you own art.

If you like the Bluebell Mist version, click on the image below and download the full resolution one I made for this post.

Do you want to download my favorite CoffeeShop PSE/Photoshop Actions and Lightroom Presets or Design Elements in one convenient zipped file AND help support this blog? Just click here for my action pack or here for all the actions/presets and professional design elements, storyboards, and textures.

  1. Amazing how just using one thing different, like the actions, makes such a difference in the overall look. My faves are the Autumn Luxe and the Chamomile Tea. Thanks for sharing this! See you next month! ;) ~L
