CoffeeShop "Vintage Book Covers 5" Fine Art Texture/Overlay Set!

I am so excited! I have had a Canon Rebel T2i for 12 years and it has been a great workhorse. Unfortunately I got busy and lazy the last years and have mostly shooting with my iPhone. My near vision is not what it once was and my Rebel only has 9 focus points so I have to hope it gets it right in-camera with the auto focus. I have been hearing so much about the mirrorless cameras with their almost unlimited focus points, so I decided to do some research and upgrade my camera body.

My iPhone photos are always in focus, but if I take the same shot in my iPhone and my Rebel there is no comparison. The iPhone tends to blow out whites, so if you have any gray hair and/or Norwegian/German ancestry your entire head often looks blown out if there is any sun present. Not to mention that the photos aren't very high resolution and noisy in low light. I also miss having RAW files and shooting manual.

Apple keeps on saying the newest iPhone is basically as good as a professional "real" camera, so maybe the one that just came out will stun me with its amazingness. But I decided to keep my older iPhone and upgrade my camera since there wasn't much of a price difference.  And one of my boys can use my Rebel.

I finally saved up enough and my new Canon EOS RP just came in last night and I can't wait to play with it today! It is a full-frame camera, smaller and lighter than my Rebel, and has great low-light capabilities. I can use all of my old EOS lenses with a converter and I can just touch on the screen to focus anywhere I want, it is miraculous! I calculated how much I had paid for my Rebel and my Tamron zoom lens back in 2010 and this set-up only cost $100 more.  Who knew that you could get a full-frame serious amateur camera for such a great price. Best of all, I don't have to buy any other lens since I have several I have purchased over the years.

I will post a little review on my thoughts on it next week. I really can't wait to go play with it, but right now I am watching YouTube videos on setting it up. It is a little more complex than my Rebel so there is a learning curve.

Now on to my freebie today. I love old book covers, so today I wanted to share a new set that I made from public domain books found here. Use them layered over images or alone in your design projects.
