Happy New Year's Eve! Hope you are spending it either with loved ones, or with a great book or movie. We are low-key and will have my parents and niece over for an early dinner, then the boys will do their annual New Year Fireworks Extravaganza in the front yard around 7 or 8. We try to buy the fireworks that don't make as much noise as we don't want to scare Hoover or the little animals that live in our yard.
Then our guests will depart (my dad is not a night owl), we will watch a Star Wars movie with popcorn and cookies, and then Paul and I will try to get some sleep while the boys stay up to midnight. Our part of town is crazy about fireworks, so we will probably be up until 1 or so and finally will resort to ear plugs. I guess I am getting to the "get off my grass" part of life. Hee hee!
Today I wanted to post my newest paper pack. I made patterns from antique dinner plates and tiles from the Rijksstudio. This set is so pretty and can be used alone as digital papers or layered over any of my textures as seen below (in soft light blending mode).
