I am so excited to share my newest designs with you! These are all high-resolution vintage lace PNGs that can be used in your own designs. They are so pretty and delicate. This set come with free commercial terms-of-use with no limitations. And if you are interesting in making your own lace, I included a tutorial below.
In the example below I added CoffeeShop Lace 3 in Soft Light blending mode to this texture.
I placed CoffeeShop Lace 7 on top of my design below. I increased the lace's brightness and added a drop-shadow.
In case you are interested in how I made these or would like to make your own, I have included the full step-by-step Photoshop/PSE tutorial below. You can download the free lace set I made toward the bottom of this post.
CoffeeShop "Vintage Lace" Photoshop/PSE Tutorial:
I downloaded these lace images at the Rijksmuseum. This is the lace I used in this tutorial. These are all public domain and high-resolution images.
Add a Levels adjustment layer and bring the Shadow slider to the right until the background is completely black.
Grab the Magic Wand tool, make sure Contiguous is unchecked, and then click to select the black background.
Double-click on the Lace layer to make it an editable layer, then click the "Delete" key. This will remove all of the background.
Adjust the Levels layer until you are satisfied with the lace brightness and contrast.
Optional: To remove any unsightly shadows or stains, add an Ivory Color Fill Layer on top in Soft Light blending mode and clip it to the lace.
This is the finished lace! I added the background color so you can see how pretty it is. When you use it on designs you can add a drop-shadow for a realistic look.
Thank you - these are lovely! Wishing you and your family a very happy and healthy new year.
