CoffeeShop "Distressed Gyojitsu" Fine Art Textures

Today it is hot and humid after all of the heavy rains we had the last week. It was crazy, we received six months of our needed rain in 9 days. Our yard looks like a garden in England, it is so green and lush. I told Paul we might as well enjoy it before the heat and chinch bugs attack. Mosquitos are already here. Nature, gotta love it!

We have so much going on I haven't had time to post. I have a pile of freebies that I need to finalize and get up here. Today I wanted to share a set of distressed textures and I absolutely love them.

I love combining actions and textures as I did in my image above. You can read about this edit here.

Do you know you can also use my textures in the Distressed FX app? If you are interested I will write a tutorial on how to do it. I love to texture images on my phone when I am stuck waiting somewhere. :-) More addictive than video games for this photographer/designer!

Do you want to download my favorite CoffeeShop PSE/Photoshop Actions and Lightroom Presets or Design Elements in one convenient zipped file AND help support this blog? Just click here for my action pack or here for all the actions/presets and professional design elements, storyboards, and textures.

  1. Thanks for these lovely textures Rita. I can't wait to use these. I love your textures and use them a lot in Photoshop.

Can you save these to your images in your phone then upload them via the Distressed FX+ app? I've not used the Destressed FX+ app for other textures.

    Biggest hugs, Rosa xo

    1. Thank you so much Rosa! I use them all of the time in Photoshop because my iPhone is tiny and I hate to edit on it. But I do love playing with the Distressed FX app, it is so much fun. Yes, you can open any texture in Distressed FX! You save them to your camera roll and then open them through the app. I think I will put together a little tutorial next week on it as it is easier to show you then tell you. Rita
