Fridays I like to post recent snapshots that make me happy.

This little muddy creek borders our neighborhood and is very flood-prone. Because it floods so easily they can't develop the land just around it, which gives us a small wooded area to explore.
At least this tiny bit of nature is safe (thus far) from urban-sprawl...

This once little town I grew up in and where we live now is being gobbled up by the approaching city. Thankfully when they built our house back in the 80's land was cheap and yards were big. We don't live in the country anymore, but at least I have my trees.
