CoffeeShop "Caramel Velvet Luxe Mini" Photoshop/PSE Action!

Today I have a new Photoshop/PSE action to share with you called "Caramel Velvet Luxe Mini".  This action has many layers, but once it finishes running you have just one simple edited layer above your background. You can adjust the opacity of this layer or paint on the layer mask to remove the effect where needed.

I called this version "Mini" because I have the full version of this action coming out next week. That action, Caramel Velvet Luxe, will allow you to go in and adjust all of the layers individually. I decided to release two versions because sometimes you might want to do a quick edit and not have to mess with layers, and other times you might want to be able to really customize the effect.

Here is what the image looks like after the "Caramel Velvet Luxe Mini" finishes running. You can adjust the opacity of the "Caramel Velvet Luxe" layer and/or paint on the layer mask with a soft black brush to selectively remove it.

In this version I ran the action (with no adjustments) and then added CS Canvas 3 texture from my Artistic Canvas Texture Set (desaturated and in Overlay blending mode). (original image)

In this version I ran "Caramel Velvet Luxe Mini", turned the opacity down to 46%, and then removed some of the layer off her face and hair using a soft low opacity black brush.

This original image is by Jill Wellington (Etsy ShopFacebook, Blog, YouTube Videos, Pixabay).

I would love to see your own edits over on my Facebook page!

  1. Thanks Rita! BTW did you know that the first download link isn't linked? Just didn't know if that was intentional or you just forgot so I thought I'd let you know.
