CoffeeShop Facebook Cover Set: Halloween!

Today I am posting two Halloween-inspired Facebook Covers/Website Headers. I think these would be perfect to display your favorite halloween costume images of your friends and family.

I really try to go all out each Halloween in the CoffeeShop House. We always decorate our front porch with two pumpkins that usually get carved before Oct. 31st. There have been a few years that they didn't get done until Nov. 1st. And one year we carved them early and they were growing a disgusting garden of spectacular fungus before the big day. It was really gross, which I guess is appropriate for the holiday.

I am not only the Queen of Decorating, I also always make sure my kids have the perfect Halloween costume, so I let my boys pick out their choice of a Halloween t-shirt from Walmart.

Some years I am lazy and they wear last year's t-shirt "costume". My mother used to make our costumes by hand, so I am sure she is appalled. ;-)

We also don't trick-or-treat anymore. Our neighbors are incredibly generous and the boys would come home with pounds of candy overflowing their giant pumpkin basket. Since I think added sugar is addictive and evil and should only be enjoyed occasionally, we ended up picking out a few favorites and tossing the rest. Obviously this made me feel really guilty as I hate to waste anything (even junk food like candy), so we decided to change our family celebration of the holiday.

This year we are going to invite the grandparents over and light the fire pit and roast hotdogs and make gluten-free s'mores in the backyard. The kids will get to wear their glow-in-the-dark Halloween t-shirt and we will blast some blues or jazz music. The boys will get their sugar rush but won't be eating candy for weeks and we adults get to enjoy a glass of wine and relax with the kids. I hope it becomes a family tradition.

What do you do to celebrate Halloween?

Now back to my freebie today. You can add your image to these Facebook covers using clipping masks and even change out the background paper and edit the text in the box. Have fun!!!
