After I posted my new set of Matte Lightroom Presets, I received some comments that you wanted me to post a "Matte Effect" tutorial and action set for Photoshop/PSE. So that will be my next project and the posts will come out in the next day or two. I love when you make suggestions for my blog, so thank you!!!
I will also post a tutorial on split-toning and adding haze to your Matte images in both LR and Photoshop/PSE.
Today I am posting a simple Valentine Facebook cover so you can post photos of your sweeties. This is a png file with a transparent background that works in most editing programs, and you can simply add a color fill layer or digital paper underneath it. You could also use this as a website header, just resize before you add photos.
Add your images behind (under) the frames and Free-Transform them to fit. Grab the eraser tool (E) and erase any of the image falling outside of the frame. Then flatten the template and post up to Facebook!
