This Blogger UnWrapped Tutorial applies to anyone who has a website or blog and wants to make it easy for readers to share your information.
You might have noticed I have a little Share button on the bottom of my posts... and on top of my blog. These are a great way for people to share, bookmark or even print your blog or their favorite posts. And they are so simple to install.
Go to Add This and follow the three simple steps I have circled in red above.
Then you can decide where you want to put your new button. I put one as a gadget on top of my blog using Step 1 in red above so people can easily bookmark or share my CoffeeShop Blog main site. I also installed the code in Step 2 so the share button would be under each post. Now if my readers find a post that they would love to bookmark or share via Twitter, Facebook, etc. it is a simple click!
Step 3 shows over 200 ways readers can bookmark or share information on your blog. Quite impressive!
This is the geeky part. I love graphs and data (my science background...). If you register with AddThis (its free) you can go to Analytics to see how many people bookmarked/shared your site or your posts, and where they did it. You can also see where they live!
I think this is a nifty little device everyone should put up on their blog or website. It should increase your traffic AND make your readers really happy. :-)
