Cabin Fever!
What do you do when it is cold outside and you are stuck inside with two little boys that have head colds? Simple... you give them pipe-cleaner hair extensions... And then you take photos of them and stick it on your blog.
Pitiful isn't it?
And if you remember I posted about my New Year's resolution of editing all of my 2009 family photos before the end of this month. Well, I have decided mid-month to change that resolution. My new updated resolution is to take FEWER photos of my kids so I won't have to process so many...
;-) Cabin fever...
I used my Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Camera Lens to take this technically perfect incredibly artistic snapshot.
And those are my highly paid child models. Their natural posing abilities and charm/wit are very evident in this image. I pay them in goldfish crackers and chocolate chips... Oh no, Daddy is going to notice that Duke does not have his glasses on. I am busted...

Cute picture. I have a question for you. I am debating the 50mm lens but would love to hear from you what the pros and cons are.
ReplyDeleteNow that looks like a fun idea and I loved your post, too funny :)
ReplyDeleteAdorable kids, and I love the blue background.
ReplyDeleteI love this, your so funny!
ReplyDeleteI am in the process of reducing my photo output too. I realize I haven't edited or printed most of my photos from 2009, not even my 4 year old's birthday from November....yikes!
Your boys are adorable.. mine are about 3 years behind them (each!) Love the way the oldest's blue eyes "pop" in this photo!
ReplyDeleteI'm off to check out your PS links to see what kind of investment these really are!
That's awesome! I may have to do that to my boy one of these days. I think he'd get a kick out of it, and I know that *I* would!
ReplyDeleteThey are so cute! I actually just found your blog and I am sooo excited! I am a photographer in Oceanside, CA and I can't wait to use everything!
