Sorry I haven't posted this week, but I have been recovering from a stupid bug the boys brought back from their Civil Air Patrol Cadet Encampment. They spent ten deluxe days in Paris, Texas in 100's degree weather with hundreds of kid. And instead of a t-shirt all they brought back for me was a virus that they pretty much shrugged off but made me into a lazy sick lug for a week.
Thankfully I was still able to enjoy Independence Day, but not with anyone outside of our immediate family. We had lots of sparklers, tiny tanks, and small fountains for our Fireworks Extravaganza. As our county is in drought conditions we didn't get anything that we couldn't contain in the middle of the driveway. But it was still a blast and enjoyed by all. Hope you had a great weekend too!
Today I wanted to share two beautiful textures in this Latour Set. They can be used to edit in so many ways, but I love using them on images to create my own "old world" paintings.
