CoffeeShop "Jane Austen Letters" Textures and Overlays


Happy Friday!!! I am in a euphoric mood today as my boys are coming home this weekend after being away for 10 days, and Jane Austen always brings joy to my heart. So I decided to put together a set of letters from Jane Austen to her sister Cassandra from 1799. I found the original public domain images here. 

I ran them through Photoshop and aligned all of the text and cleaned up the edges, but otherwise they are untouched. If you go their original links (I have them included in the download) they have them all transcribed which makes for fun reading.


I included the original letters and also a set where I removed the background so the text can be used as transparent overlays. I used one of the overlays in this butterfly edit.
