CoffeeShop "Daubigny" Fine Art Texture Set!

I hope your week is going well! We have been busy with school and getting some projects done around the house.

We are even thinking of adding a cat to our family. We have had pet rats for almost 10 years but the heartbreak of losing each one after 2-3 years is getting more and more difficult. They just have such short lifetimes...  We are down to one senior rat, Olive, and we made the decision that it is a good time to end our rat adventure by not getting any new adorable rat babies and maybe start a new kitty adventure.

It is taking some time because we want a very social lap-cat that is fine with big dogs (and Gooney the cocketial will just have to be supervised more when he is out) so we have been meeting and greeting rescue cats. Of course all of them are adorable so it is a difficult choice. Paul wears black scrubs to work so we made a decision that we won't get a white cat. And our last two cats were both black, so even though I find myself unconsciously trying to color-coordinate my dog and cat, it might be fun to get a calico or tabby for something different.

With all of the house things going on, our search for a cat, and a family Easter party coming up, I haven't had time to spend on my blog. But I am back today!

I wanted to share two beautiful textures I made from Charles-François Daubigny paintings. I really love the blue one, it is prefect for so many images. I am still learning the ins and outs of my new Canon RP (it is so much more complicated than my old Canon Rebel) so hopefully I will have some of my own images to use these textures on in the next weeks.
