CoffeeShop "Faraday" Fine Art Textures!

We are in for a rainy few days. They are predicting 3-6 inches Friday/Saturday and up to 10 inches in certain locations. Around southeast Texas this can lead to some serious flooding. Not Hurricane Harvey level of course, but it can still be dangerous. Thankfully our house is pretty high and we should be fine, but I don't know if Paul will be able to make it home from work tomorrow. He has a blow-up mattress and change of clothes just in case.

It is unfortunate it is already raining as Duke wanted to test out his new birthday drone. It might have to wait until later this weekend. But it is perfect weather for movie watching, as long as we keep our power.

Maybe we should use this time to actually get our house decorated. Since my grandmother passed away last month it has been difficult to get into the Christmas spirit. This is my first Christmas without her, I haven't missed celebrating with her once in my entire life. Neither have my boys. But I plan on playing lots of Christmas music and burning some scented candles, and I know we will all get into the spirit. Gata would want that, she loved Christmas as much as we do.

Today I have a new pack of Fine Art Textures I call "Faraday". Yes, I am on a scientist kick lately. These look great layered over images in soft light, overlay, multiple, or screen blending mode or just use them alone as beautiful digital paper.

Original images used in this post: (Beagle, Cactus).

  1. Thanks for another beautiful set of textures.

I know it is difficult, I've lost both grandmothers and five grandfathers throughout the years starting when I was 8 and ending when I was in my 30s. Each loss was a blow but I know they are all looking out for me as I'm sure Gata is looking out for you.
