I was supposed to post this yesterday, but it was so stormy yesterday I didn't want to turn on my computer. Luckily we didn't float away or have any new leaks, so I am back!
Here is my newest tinted B&W action called "Chamomile Tea B&W". This action is so pretty on so many different types of images and it is fully adjustable.
I wanted to thank the generous photographers at Unsplash for the images I used in this post. (succulent, bridal bouquet, woman in white, baby shoes, woman with flower in hair, ferris wheel) and Jill Wellington (Etsy Shop, Facebook, Blog, YouTube Videos, Pixabay) for the gorgeous portrait I used in my tutorial below.
CoffeeShop "Chamomile Tea B&W" Action Tutorial:
Run the "Chamomile Tea B&W" action on the image. This is what the edit looks like with no adjustments. Adjust each layer's opacity to taste and/or paint on the layer masks.
For this edit I turned on "White Rescue" add adjusted the opacity to 64% to recover detail on her white dress.
Then I turned on "Brighten Shadows" and adjusted the opacity to 61%. This is such a pretty soft-looking edit!

Thank you so much Lisa!!!
DeleteI was looking for an action that had a nice variety of B&W options in a simple format. Thank you so much for sharing your talent and making it available in PSE. Revena
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Revena! I forgot about this action which is a shame because it is a gorgeous one. And I love making things for PSE, it is such an affordable program for photographers and designers. Rita
