Today I have a new action that I really am excited to share with you. Last week I released "Golden Enchantment", one of my favorite editing techniques. But then I realized that the Enchantment layer in that action is actually quite beautiful alone without the additional golden sun layers, so this new action was born.
I went back to the drawing board and played around with the Enchantment editing layers until I was able to get a beautiful high contrast/high color dramatic edit. Of course, it is completely customizable to be as subtle or dramatic as you want.
You should download both versions as the "Enchantment" editing effect in both is quite different.
I used this gorgeous image from Quimuns on Pixabay for my tutorial. I have had so much fun working with this image I am not ready to move on yet. This little girl inspired me to write three new actions! I have written a gorgeous B&W action also that I will release next week.

Run "Enchantment" on your image. This is what it looks like without any changes.
Starting at the top, I used a soft black brush to remove the "Vignette" layer from her hair. It was adding too much contrast/color noise.
I turned down "Warm it up" to 50% and "Saturation" was raised to 50%. I painted off most of the "Pop" layer off her hair and face with a 50-100% soft black brush. Then I grabbed a soft white brush and painted in the "Define" layer on her eyes and hair. That layer really adds some pretty sharpness where needed.
