CoffeeShop "Autumn Pop" Photoshop/PSE Action!
I have had some readers ask me if I have an action that boosts fall colors. Many of my actions are beautiful on autumn images, but I decided to write a quick one that is perfect if you just want a quick boost of color and contrast.
I downloaded the image above from Pixabay. It is a great example of an image that looked more vibrant in person but is quite subtle onscreen. The CoffeeShop Autumn Pop action allows you to enhance fall colors while boosting the contrast and lightening the darks. All layers are fully adjustable and I would suggest adjusting the layers for each image for a perfect edit. :-)
I will walk you through this action this week so you can see what is going on "behind the hood". I hope you are enjoying your Sunday. I have a few more chores I have to finish up but I plan on enjoying the great outdoors (our back patio) this afternoon. We have sticks from the yard to burn in our firepit and the three males in my family are pyromaniacs…

This action was just what I needed tonight! Thank you! I just had a client ask if I could enhance the red and orange trees in the background of their portraits and this did the trick (combined with a refresher on layer masks, that I also found on your site, so I could mask out their faces). Thank you, thank you!
ReplyDeleteHi Rita. Do you have any template/ tutorial/ PSE action for making a printable desk calendar? New year is coming and I just want to make my own photo calendar.
ReplyDeleteHi, I just downloaded this lovely action. Above you write "I will walk you through this action this week..." but I couldn't seem to find this walk-through. Could you direct me to that info? I can't wait to use this but am not savvy enough to figure it out alone. Thanks so much for your amazing actions! ~Samantha
ReplyDeleteThanks for pointing that out Samantha! I just added it to the post. :-)
