CoffeeShop Portrait Toolbox 2.0 Photoshop/PSE Action!!!!

I am always so excited to receive emails, comments, or Facebook messages about future actions, presets, digital designs, and tutorial suggestions.  I had a reader message me on Facebook and requested a new version of Portrait ToolBox 1.0 that has a layer for teeth whitening.  I love that action and am excited to announce a new and improved version.

CoffeeShop Portrait ToolBox 2.0 has all of the layers of the 1.0 version, but I added a tooth whitening layer and made some adjustments on some of the other layers to make them even better!  This action is a do-it-all retouching action that is a powerful addition to all of my other retouching actions.  I hope you enjoy using it.

If you have an action request please don't hesitate to let me know!  Think of me as a free custom-action writer.  ;-)

And if you see something on my blog that you love, please pin it to Pinterest if you don't mind!  I have little "pin it" icons on the top of each image to make it easy on you.  I would love if you would spread the news about all of the free stuff on my site.  More traffic = more free stuff posted here!!!

For this action I used this adorable image from Sarah J Shanor Photography.

Here is the starting image.

Here is my final edit.  I wanted to show you the layers I used in this edit.  Please visit the post on Portrait ToolBox 1.0 to read the full tutorial to edit each layer.  The only addition you will have to worry about is Whiten Teeth.  Use a soft white brush on the teeth at 100% and your teeth will be pretty and white!

On this lovely girl, I added the Vignette and painted out her face and white shirt.  I added some "Cool it down" but removed it from her neck and added some "Warm it up" just to her hair and neck.     I put the Define layer at 100% to "pop" her eyes and hair.  I added some "Brighten Whites" but painted it off her face.  I whitened her teeth and turned on the Vivid Color Pop and added some to the background by painting on the layer mask with white.  I added "Eye Pop" and "Skin Smoothing" by painting on the layer masks with a soft white brush.

If this action does not run properly, please reset your preferences on PSE or Photoshop.  That usually fixes it.

I hope you find this action useful!  Download CoffeeShop Portrait ToolBox 2.0.

  6. Hi Rita! I love all your actions and use so many while editing. I have a hard time using this one because there are so many layers. I'd love to be able to run each layer separately since I don't always want all of these on one image. Do you have them as individual actions? Thanks for all the hard work and being so generous!
