CoffeeShop Sun Bliss Photoshop/PSE Action!

I am really excited to share my newest free action, CoffeeShop Sun Bliss.  I already have a sun flare type of action called CoffeeShop Sun Kissed, but I find that the faux photoshop len's flare is a bit distracting.  So I decided to write a different version that has a fully adjustable sun flare effect without the fake len's flare.  I really love this action and hope you have fun playing with it.

Please read the instructions below before using this action.  It is a really easy edit, but you will have to adjust the sun flare after the action finishes running.

CoffeeShop Sun Bliss Instructions:

1. Open your image.

2.  Run the action.  The "sun bliss" layer will be selected and you will have to use the gradient tool to apply the enhancement.  The action applies it, but the beauty of this action is it is fully adjustable and I always play with the gradient after the action runs.  I actually like the edit "as is", but I want to exaggerate the sunlight.

3.  Click on the gradient tool (1) and then select the radial or linear gradient (2).  Make sure the color pane is white on top, black on bottom.

4.  Click on the gradient fingernail and make sure the first one is selected (foreground to background, in this case white to black).  If you don't select the proper gradient this edit will not work.

5.  I wanted a glow in the middle of this image, so I selected the white to black radial gradient and dragged it in the middle of the image (see the red line).  Once you get the light flare in the proper place you can adjust the opacity of that layer to taste.   I love this version and also the first version (without any extra editing).

If you don't see a black box with a white blur in Layer 1 on your layer pane, then you didn't set the tools properly.  Once you set them they will stay that way until you use the gradient tool in another edit.

I hope you enjoy this little action as much as I do!
