The Sickness From Hades!

I just wanted to post a quick note to let you know why I have been gone for so long.

Last week Duke caught a little bug that involved a quick food exit from both ends.  It only lasted 24 hours and he didn't seem as upset about it as his mother who had to clean up after a few accidents.

A few days later Imp had the same symptoms, quick and dirty.  Feeling great myself, I thought the adults in the family were safe from this apparent childhood disease.

Well, unfortunately once again I was proved wrong.  My husband and I came down the the disease a few days later, and it was not some minor 24 hour bug.  It was a major life-disrupting virus that kept us down for a few days.  I won't go into any details other than the fact I spent too much time visiting my little white toilet friend...  At one point I called my mom, sobbing, and begged her to take the boys for a day.   Thank goodness my parents are in town.

Today I feel almost normal and I was able to turn on my computer and try to catch up.  I have a few goodies I want to post later this week, so please keep an eye on my blog.

Wow, it feels so nice to be able to drink and eat once again. Simple pleasures.
