Perfect Portrait 3 Preview!!!
I love to tinker and I wanted to update Perfect Portrait 2 and I am finally almost finished! This version has an improved Vivid Color layer, doesn't have as much harsh contrast, has a really nice boost layer, and has automatic skin smoothing (so you don't have to paint on a layer mask). I also am removing the Skin Repair layer (this should be done before starting the action) and the B&W conversion layer (not necessary).
I am really excited about this update. Perfect Portrait 3 can actually replace Perfect Portrait 1 and 2 (however, the original versions still work great). I will be posting the action with a detailed tutorial in the next few days. I will also have a small auto skin smoothing action following it.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog! I ♥ you.

ReplyDeleteLooking good! I'm excited!!!
ReplyDeleteCool! I can't wait to see it. I use PP1 on almost all my portraits.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I'm also loving the 2020 action. I make cards and that action really helps to sharpen the colours before I post to my blog.
I can hardly wait!! Thanks so much Rita!!
ReplyDeleteI love your work. Thank you so much for sharing. You are an inspiration to me and my secret desire to become a photographer!

ReplyDeleteYAY! Now I just need to get my camera out more often so I have portraits to use! I have been SUCH a slacker lately.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! you are so generous with your talents. i am so curious how it will smooth skin without smoothing the rest of the image and get it right on the skin. can't wait to see.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to try your new portrait action but I gotta tell you, I can't seem to drag myself away from Baby PowderRoom as my "perfect portrati" action. I'll keep trying them all but I always come back to that one!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteOhhh.. I LOVE it! Great job!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love you! Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait - I use Perfect Portrait 2 and LOVE IT! I paid for Portrait Professional last year (before I found your actions), and got a free upgrade to version 10 - and I MUCH prefer your action. So much so, I not longer use the "professional" product as yours is easier to use and gives more natural results. I hope to be able to put a donation in your box very soon, your work is so worth it!! Please keep it up, I find your blog inspiring!
ReplyDeletelovely. i love this
ReplyDeletei just linked you on my blog on the 'for you scrap lovers' part :)

ReplyDeletePP3!!... just when I think it can't get any better.. I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteu so rock Rita..thanks so much for sharing your wonderful talent with us!
Looks amazing!! Cant wait!
ReplyDeleteoooh! I can't wait! I am kind of addicted to your perfect portrait actions.
ReplyDeleteOoh I'm excited! But, can I make a request/suggestion? Please keep the BW conversion!!! It is so convenient, and I love how it looks.. more than my other conversions. I was just telling my husband how easy it is to offer my clients both versions when I want to, because all I have to do is click the BW conversion and save it again. I'm excited to see how the skin smoothing works, but I would probably stick to the Perfect Portrait 2 if the 3 doesn't have the BW conversion.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all you offer!! :)
I can't wait! Perfect Portrait 2 is my "go to" action, I use it on almost all of my portraits, it's great for the skin!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to this wonderful action!!! :D Barb
ReplyDeletethanks,Rita...i use perfect portrait 2 a lot..love all your action. cant wait the next action. thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I love PP2 and an updated version sounds so exciting! I (like another commenter) love having the BW conversion right there in the action (it just saves a step)...can you pretty please leave it in there? I LOVE your actions. Thanks so much for all you do!
