This giveaway is closed and I will be announcing the winner shortly!!!
I just received a beautiful 16x20 Gallery Wrapped Canvas from ColorInc, Pro Labs. This image
is really special to me. Can you guess what it is?
OK, no more guessing. This is a image of my husband's retina. He even has an anomaly (an epiretinal membrane). It might be a flaw, but it makes his eye special. :-) The boys and I go up to his clinic and take photos of our eyes. Does that make us really geeky?
I love how this gallery wrap turned out. It is simply gorgeous and looks like a modern art painting. Look at the details and beautiful corners.
And this gallery wrap was not only delivered in just a few days, but came ready to hang.
It is fun to think outside of the box and get a gallery wrap for my walls of an image that most people would never even think about printing. I love how this turned out. Thanks ColorInc!
The good guys at ColorInc. Pro Labs are offering my readers another amazing free giveaway! Simply comment below letting me know what freebies/tutorials you would like to see me post here on CoffeeShop (please put your email address in the comment) and you are entered to win one free 16x20 gallery wrap canvas. If you have ordered from ColorInc. before I would love to hear all about it!
Only comments with valid emails can win. :-)
If you haven't ordered from ColorInc yet you should try them out. They have a special promotion for 50% off your first order, 20% off your next ten orders (see ad and coupon code on top of my blog). I loved learning how to use the unsharp mask to emphasize the eyes in pictures, and would love more things like that. Maybe even camera techniques, like how to shoot to capture a sunflare, or silhouette. Thank you!

ReplyDeleteyellowroses021@yahoo.com
The pioneer woman action "PW's B&W" has a layer in it called "light". I am constantly running that action, then deleting the other layers. I would love to know how to get just the "light" layer.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your actions! I use so many of them!

beautiful!! :) rita, i would LOVE to have some tutorials on how to do different BW conversions! like dramatic BW, light and airy BW, etc!!! i've been having a lot of problems making them look good :)

ReplyDeleteLove your actions and am so happy that you share them with the world! Free prints, like this one, are always fun. I never print enough of mine.
mbphotomom3 at yahoo.com
I just placed my first order to ColorInc about 10 hours a go. A little to late for the discount though :(
ReplyDeleteI would like to see more information about resizing images for printing purposes. I don't understand why when an image is cropped in Photoshop Elements 8 it then becomes a smaller size on my monitor. I image the image size I see on the monitor would then affect how the photo looks when printed.
Thanks!

I've tried all the free tutorials on YouTube, but they just don't work right with this picture!

That is a very cool picture. I was thinking maybe it was something inside a womb..lol. Anywho...I love the tutorials you have. I am sure there are numerous tuts. out there but you help me better understand. (larissa@paveiphotos.com)
ReplyDeleteOkay Rita, that has to be one of the most unusual things I've seen printed and enlarged. But considering what your hubby does it makes sense. Very cool conversation piece! Hope you're having a great summer and hope you all are on the mend!!

I would LOVE one of these gallery wraps!
ReplyDeleteDon't enter me, I won the other one.
ReplyDeleteBUT! I had to say, I knew what it was, and only because I HATE getting my eyes checked, even typing this out and TALKING about, they start to water. Dr. says I have such light, and light sensitive eyes, they just water. So, all that need to open them, and they shine a light, yeah, worse sort of fun.
Well, my last visit, he felt sorry for me and did the scan for free. He joked, how I should offer THESE to clients!!!! So, this was TOO funny to see, you actually had one printed!!!!
I love all of what you do. But I would love if you could teach us how to make our own actions to share with the world. Thanks a bunch.
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting choice to have gallery wrapped. What a conversation starter that will be!

ReplyDeleteI love it! I am curious about work flow and what you do if you have a bunch of pictures you need to edit. Any tips on how to edit a lot of pictures more quickly than individually tweaking?
