Here is a free header template, CoffeeShop 3 Pic Blog Header. This is a .psd template you can use in Photoshop Elements or Photoshop and everything is in layers. Add images using clipping masks (tutorial HERE) in the boxes and adjust the text to taste.
If you are looking for some amazing free fonts don't forget about Kevin and Amanda.com! You can remove the drop shadow (just turn off the little eye on that layer). You can also change the color of the background by clicking on that layer and Edit, Fill with your color of choice, or just drag your favorite background or place your favorite pattern just above the background on a new layer. If you want to change the top background with the text and drop-shadow, just click on the Drop Shadow layer, select it with your magic wand, and Edit, Fill with the color of your choice.
Once you have added your images and adjusted the text, flatten and crop to fit your blog OR shrink to fit your blog when uploading.

I also have almost finished my newest retouching action, CoffeeShop Baby PowderRoom. This action has the same skin smoothing and eye enhancement layers of my original PowderRoom, but I added a layer to remove red blotchy skin (using the paintbrush, not the cloning or healing tools!), lighten the skin, and give a subtle glow. The before image was SOOC with a slight exposure adjustment in ACR, the after image was after running my action and spending a minute or two on the layers with a paintbrush. And no cloning or healing the red blemishes before the action started! I will include a complete step-by-step tutorial on using this action. You can also run this on children, teens and adults if they have skin blemishes.
Do you want to download thousands of professional CoffeeShop PSE/Photoshop actions (including exclusive ones not found anywhere for free), textures/overlays, scrapbooking papers, clip art/design elements, photo storyboards and frames, and Lightroom presets from this site in one convenient zipped file AND help support this one-woman blog?

ReplyDeleteWow! That skin action looks COOL. My daughter had a bright red splotch right in the middle of her forehead when she was born. They called it an angel kiss and the same thing on the back of her neck was a stork bite. For certain projects it would be nice to smooth it out, although I love it of course since that's how she really looked. I can't wait to check this one out on her early pics. Thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteThank you Rita. Today, my blog post is all about you!
