CoffeeShop Carnival Tutorial Part 3: Free Action!

I had a creative surge and completely redesigned my sister Heather's and my CoffeeShop Designs blog/logo design site.  I love how it turned out!  I made all of the design elements for the header and I will be posting them on this blog for free download.  I will also post some tutorials on how I created the header.  I am on a vintage kick right now and I am sure I will have to redesign this site next.  See why I became a blog designer?

UPDATE! I actually did redesign this blog as you can probably tell.  I used some beautiful textures from Chasing Dreams on this header.

Today I am posting the CoffeeShop Carnival free action.  If you want to read the step-by-step action-unwrapped tutorial, please read Part 1.  If you are interested in learning how to add textures with this action, please go read Part 2.

Like most actions, Carnival won't look great on every image.  This is a artistic action that will look amazing on certain images, and horrible on others.  It is just a matter of finding the proper images. :-)

Download the free CoffeeShop Carnival action. You can also download it here.

Do you want to download my favorite CoffeeShop Actions or Design Elements in one convenient zipped file AND help support this blog? Just click here for my action pack or here for a download of some of my most popular design elements, storyboards, and textures.

  6. I downloaded the action and went to extract the file but it is asking for a password. ?? That doesn't usually happen. Did I do something wrong this time???

  9. The action is gorgeous! Has anyone else had trouble installing it? I did it the same way I've one other actions, and it keeps saying "the target can not handle this type of document." I'll try again later. Thanks so much!

  10. Rita, you're amazingly talented! So, saw an action over at Shadow House, and since my PS tanked with my laptop last year, I was wondering if you had a PSE action like this one or if it's possible to create a PSE action like it. Here's a link to his... http://shadowhousecreations.blogspot.com/2012/09/antique-white-action-walk-through.html
