Happy 2009! 2008 was a great year for my family, and to show my appreciation for all of your nice comments and generous donations I wanted to give you a New Year's present. Here is the CoffeeShop Honey Retro action. It runs in Photoshop and Photoshop Elements, and the action does all of the work for you. After it finishes running, just turn on the edge burn layer of choice (the light burn at 50% is automatically selected) and adjust opacity of that layer to taste. Flatten your image and enjoy!

I am so glad you guys like this action. It is one of my favorites.

Sorry some of you guys can't download it! I don't know what is going on... The link is working fine on my end, but you know how these computer things go. I would try again and see if it works. If it doesn't, then let me know and I will try to find an additional place to upload them.

as soon as i saw this i was giddy. you seriously are the best. powder room has become a number one on my workflow. you are so talented and sweet.

as soon i as ran this action and played a bit - outloud i said "oh my gosh this is awesome" now i feel bad for past shoots that don't get this sweet look. my attempts never matched up to this. you are the best!

this looks great but i'm getting an error as well...

Rats, I am getting a few errors when I try and run it. I am using a Mac if it makes any difference. Starting with "The Command "Copy Via Layer" is not currently available" followed buy "The object "layer ""Layer5"" is not currently available" followed by " The command "Move" is not currently available" lastly "The object "Background" is not currently available". Then all of the layers disappear except Retro Honey and Gradient Map 1

Poeia, I get the same errors and have many others on other actions (annoyingly I can't run the new Perfect Portrait without problems!!!) and I run with a PC so it's not a mac issue. Rita it would be great if you could suggest anything to help.......

From one SAHM to another, I appreciate your word and generocity. I'm desperate to get this to work. The PSE6 install instructions tell me to put in a "photocreations" folder which my PSE6 doens't have. Also, I'm getting the error on the white screen. Any assistance is appreciated!!

It took me a little bit to figure out how to load the actions, but I'm having a ball playing with them now that I have it all figured out. I can't wait to get some stuff done!

This is def. one of my favs here. My aunt and uncle had an 80's party in Feb. to celebrate their anniversary and this was the PERFECT action to make some of the photos look like they were from the 80s!
