CoffeeShop "Summer Wine" Photoshop/PSE Fine Art Action!

Sorry I am so late posting this week. We have all had some virus crud that has been going around town and I haven't had my normal creative bug.

And as I was getting this post ready to post this morning, the boys (who were playing outside) came in bloody and bruised. They were apparently spinning on a large plant holder on the driveway and hit a crack which sent them both flying into the air and landing on the cement.

Imp has an egg-sized bruise on his head and a scraped hand and knee and Duke tried to remove his kneecap and will have a scab the size of Texas on his leg along with a bloody elbow.

No concussion or broken bones, so they will be fine. But the blood really freaked me out.

Sigh.

I should have had girls...

Anyway, those are my "dog ate my homework" excuses for being late posting this week.

Now on the reason I am posting today. I have a brand new fine art action for Photoshop/PSE called "Summer Wine". This action is a beautiful tinted enhancement that looks gorgeous on so many types of images and is completely adjustable.

I used an image from Pixabay (flower) and images from Jill Wellington (Etsy ShopFacebook, Blog, YouTube Videos, Pixabay) on this post.

I wanted to mention that Jill has some gorgeous digital backdrops in her Etsy Store. You should go check them out!

CoffeeShop "Summer Wine" Action Tutorial:

This is the original beautiful image from Jill.

I ran the action and adjusted the sliders circled in red when the Level's adjustment layer popped up. Adjust each image's contrast to taste.

This is the image after the action finishes running. You can adjust the opacity of the "Summer Wine" layer or paint on its layer mask. And you can also adjust the  "Save the Whites" layer if needed.

I hope you enjoy using this newest action!

  1. You have no need to apologize. Goodness, it has been quite the week already for you guys hasn't it. Sorry that you've been unwell and hopefully the boys will mend soon before scampering off and causing you more stress. ;) Glad to hear there was no real lasting damage.

    Thanks for the new action!
