{Friday Photo Bliss}

On Fridays I like to post snapshots I took during the week that make me happy.

There is a field by our house with some round hay bales and I knew if I brought the kids there I would be able to shoot some photos of them just being themselves.

We  went for our first 2017 family walk through the greenbelt by our house.

It was in the 80's. Today it is in the 30's. This weekend it will be in the 20's. Next week it will be back in the 80's.

Rollercoaster weather down here in SW Texas.

We noticed some giant raccoon tracks on this walk.

Wait, these are quite big for a raccoon.

And there appears to be a giant dragging tail print between the tracks.

Alligator!!!

That day the boys would not go anywhere near the creek. I told them alligators are everywhere in Texas, and yesterday when they were playing in the creek the alligator was probably still around and didn't eat them.

Or Piper the dog.

But they were not convinced.

Paul brought the boys and their best friend for a little flight in the Texas Gooney Bird.

I absorbed some Vitamin D.

Duke got some immunizations. I sent this image to Paul and he asked if Duke had really passed out. This was a reasonable question because once years ago when they were taking his blood Duke turned completely white and passed out.  So now every time he gets a shot they make him lie down for 10-15 minutes.

He thinks this is quite annoying.

And no, he did not pass out and was very grown-up and took his shots like a man.

We did some creek exploring.

Which resulted in mud...

And the boys climbed some trees.

Basically, a normal week at the CoffeeShop house!

Have a wonderful weekend!!!

  1. Happy your first week of 2017 was a typical pleasant one Rita. I am also happy to hear that none of you were eaten by alligators. That definitely would have put a damper on the week. ;)

All the best to you for the year ahead!
