CoffeeShop "Honey Lush" Photoshop/PSE Action!

Today I have a brand new action called "Honey Lush". "Honey Lush" can be especially gorgeous on portraits and even has an auto-skin smoothing layer that can be adjusted or turned off. All the layers are adjustable.

The two beautiful images of "Vintage Val" are from Jill Wellington (Etsy ShopFacebook, Blog, YouTube Videos, Pixabay).

The image of the two little boys below are of Duke and Imp taken years ago by me. :-)

I ran "Honey Lush" on this gorgeous image from Sam Wales of Bloom Photography.

CoffeeShop "Honey Lush" Photoshop/PSE Action Tutorial:

This is the original image of "Vintage Val" from Jill Wellington.

This is the image after running the "Honey Lush" action, without any changes.

NOTE: I added one more layer to this action called "Brighten" after making these screenshots. You will see it in the next example.

I turned "Honey" down to 80% and "Define" down to 40%. I love the colors!

I wanted to add a painterly texture, so I added my CoffeeShop Painterly Oils Light Texture.

I put the texture in Soft Light blending mode and used a soft black brush on the layer mask to remove all of the texture off Vintage Val. Then I made a copy of this layer to add more texture.

This action also looks nice on your family snapshots. Here is an SOOC photo of Duke and Imp taken yesterday. Oops, I mean years ago, it just seems like yesterday. ;-)

This is the image after running "Honey Lush". YUCK!

But don't worry, with a few adjustments this image will look lovely.

I turned on the "Brighten" layer and left it at 100%. I turned down "Define" to 60% and "Lush" to 70%. Now I love the edit!

No action will look amazing on every image, and in most cases you will have to do some adjustments to get that perfect edit on your own images. So don't give up if you run an action and your image looks horrible! It might just need a few adjustments. :-)
