The boys are finishing up school this afternoon and then we have a fun sewing project. We recently purchased a new sewing machine
and our first major project will be placemats and napkins for the holidays. The boys picked out some really nice fabric (cardinals and holly) for the placemats and we found some coordinating black with gold swirls fabric for the napkins (always make them dark or they stain) and we have to sew twelve of each. It is a major project but I think it will be pretty easy. We are using the instructions on this blog post. Now I need to get Duke to show me how to work the sewing machine once again...I have a new set of gold and silver digital papers that would look amazing on your greeting cards, websites, blogs, Facebook covers, and storyboards. I used actual glitter textures on them so they look realistic. I also used some Shadowhouse Creations grunge textures on a few of them to make them appear distressed/vintage. And like all of my digital paper packs, these come with free commercial terms of use (just don't resale them "as is").
