I love playing with the filters on Instagram and I was inspired to write an action similar to some of them. CoffeeShop "Vintagram" is a fully adjustable action and I think you will enjoy playing with it. This version crops your image into a 2000px by 2000px square (perfect for small prints and posting on the web) before applying the effect. I will also post a version that does not crop your image into a square and can be used to edit larger images for print.
When the action prompts you to crop the image, just drag the bars. If you can't see the crop box, then Ctrl-0 (zero) and it will zoom out and you will see it and can move it on your image. When you run the action a levels adjustment layer will pop up, just adjust this to taste. You can also adjust it later when the action finishes running (it is the top layer as seen in the screenshot above). As you can see this action has quite a few layers. I sometimes end up adjusting the Vintage Color Tint and Urban Grit layers after the action runs.
