I have wanted to figure out how to design a fake software box, and I used this tutorial today. My version is far from perfect (a bit warped!), but it was fun to try to create a CoffeeShop box. I even used some textures from FlyPaper Textures to decorate my box. It felt great to play on the computer again.
So today I am posting download links to my newest free CoffeeShop Frames. You can find my other ones here. I made 5 frames using Sassy Design papers and my own CoffeeShop border. It is a diverse selection, so hopefully you will find one you love. These are layered .psd files that need to be opened in Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. Simply use the clipping mask to add your image. If you don't know how to use clipping masks, you are really missing out and should read my clipping mask tutorial or download my fun Group-It Action. If you don't want to use the clipping masks, just add your image on the top layer and free transform it to fit (Ctrl-T).
If you want to post these frames on a background that is not white, delete the background layer (it is white) and save as a .png. Otherwise, flatten and save as a jpg. They frames are 1000px wide, so they can be adjusted to fit any website. I hope you have fun playing with these frames!
And like everything you download from this blog, these frames can be used personally or commercially, no credit necessary; just your firstborn child. On second thought, keep your firstborn child. I have enough on my hands with my boys, dog, cats, and chickens. ;-)
Download the CoffeeShop Frames 7 set at Mediafire. These are image files, not actions, so please don't try to load them into your action pane. Just open them like any other image.
