After Easter, and it is not pretty...

Imp received an early birthday gift from Uncle ArmyGuy. 202 little Army men. Unfortunately one of them escaped...

Frustrated over not getting any Easter candy, he went after his first victim who ironically had not seen any candy for days.

Unable to stop himself because of his chocolate addiction, he attacked again.  This time it was a true innocent victim who never had any candy.

The After Easter attack was brutal with no survivors. Shortly after little Army guy finished his bloodless rampage, Imp ran over him with his tricycle and crushed his legs. It was indeed a tragic tale of an addiction gone bad.

I used my favorite lens I have had forever (before digital) the Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM Zoom Lens for Canon . Great bokeh and a decent lens for low light because of the image stabilizer.  If you can afford only one zoom lens for your camera, this is the one to consider.  It is the perfect lens for shooting basically everything and it is on my camera most of the time.  If you want to photograph children, it is absolutely perfect! Combined with the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Camera Lens you will have a great working lens setup. :-)

The egghead planter was inspired by our favorite ever craft book (out of print but used copies available) Disney's FamilyFun Crafts: 500 Creative Activities for You and Your Kids. I bought one for me and both of my sisters. You are supposed to use grass seed in these eggheads, but since we are rednecks we used bird seed and our own fresh eggs.

These guys finally got their first (and last) haircut.  When Duke was finished it was a military cut...
