CoffeeShop 20x10 Storyboard PS/PSE Action and Template!

Here is another free CoffeeShop Storyboard action and template! This one is 20x10, 300 dpi, and the action builds the template and crops and loads your images for you. There is also optional adjustable text layers. Plus this action does not flatten the final storyboard so you can do a last minute adjustment of your images or text if you wish. If you are using Photoshop Elements, you must have some random image open BEFORE starting this action or it won't run! Also, you might have to restart your PSE program after loading the action so that it will crop the images correctly. If the images are coming out wonky, just restart and then it should be fine. I also included a .psd template with clipping masks for those of you that prefer to not use an action. Please read my clipping mask tutorial if you haven't already, clipping masks make it easy and fun to load storyboards.

  4. Rita - This storyboard is beautiful! You've inspired me to create some storyboards of my own. Would you write a little tutorial on creating storyboards? It would be great! Thanks for sharing your hard work.

  11. hi, i have just discovered your site and i am so excited to have all these great tutorials, etc to browse and digest! i am wondering what your recommendation would be?? i am thinking about photoshop/photoshop elements, etc...currently i only use picasa which i am sure is lame in comparison to ps/pse...but am i gonna have way-over-the-top-tons-more options with just elements 7? or should i think about the big expensive programs like cs4 or whatever? i just need a really good editing program in which i could apply your coffeeshop actions. i dont even know if this makes sense cuz that is how amateur i am, but i thought i would stick my neck out and give it a whirl??? i am not into videography. also, i dont know if you will comment me back on my site or here at this original post?? will check both places. thanks so much

  15. I am loving all of your storyboards... especially all of your 20x10 ones... but I am having a difficult time finding places that sell frames for them. Do you know of places online that sell them that I could order them through? Thanks a bunch....

  16. I love your templates, but have been trying to use this one with PSE 8 on a mac and it keeps crashing -- I've rebooted and it still crashes. Anyone with the same experience -- suggestions?

  17. I think this action does not run in all Macs unfortunately...

  18. Mine keeps crashing too :( any ideas?

  19. I don't think this action works on PSE in Macs. Unfortunately there is no fix.

  20. Well thank you for your wonderful tutorials. I was able to make a go of making my own storyboard. I'm happy with it, although I liked the sizing of your cutouts better :) Thanks!
