CoffeeShop "Winter Stone" Fine Art Texture/Overlay!

We are finally starting to feel human once again after spending two weeks in "Flu Hades". We are weak and left with bad coughs, but we are excited about life once again. It seems that so many people are sick this winter, so I know we aren't alone. But it feels so great to be getting better!!!

I have a brand new action coming out this week, but today I wanted to post a really pretty texture I made. I think this one is so lovely!  It has a gorgeous cool tint that really adds so much to your images. I like to use it in Soft Light, Overlay, Screen, or Multiply blending modes. You can also desaturate it or use it with any of my actions.

In the two edits above I ran my "Bluebell Mist" action and adjusted it to add just a hint of bluebell tint, and then added this texture twice in Soft Light. I love the texture/tint in these two edits!

Original photos used in this post: (hydrangea, lovers by lake, woman, roses, winter berries, boy asleep).

  2. Oh lovely! Another gorgeous texture. That first image with the pink flowers in the cup looks like it could be a painting. Thanks so much Rita.

Also happy to hear that you are all on the mend. Lets hope this is the first and last sickness of the season!

    1. Thank you Lisa, I really love this texture too. And I am so hoping we don't catch anything else for a few months. We need time to completely recover! We are avoiding really busy public places for now, at least until our coughs are gone.

    1. Thank you so much Diana! I love creating and using textures. You just can't get the same effect on those darn little camera phones, right? I love making art.
