I will start this post by telling you a sad food story. Last night I went with Paul as a guest to an eye-insurance talk (Paul is an optometrist) at Perry's Steakhouse. We both got the Famous Pork Chop which is basically half a pig, mashed potatoes, grilled veggies, and gluten-free chocolate cake. We brought at least half of the chop, potatoes, and veggies home along with both pieces of untouched cake for the boys. Perry's is way above our pay grade (that was my first time to go), so this was a really special treat.
This morning I opened the fridge to get the eggs and noticed no Perry's boxes. We left all of our yummy food in the car overnight and it was in the 80's... I don't want to risk food poisoning so Hoover the dog is getting a special fancy breakfast this morning and I will have disappointed teenage boys. We did this once with left-over pizza and you would think I would have learned!

What is unclear is whether the album was meant, like so many wedding albums today, as a joyous expression of the union of the two families, or whether it was made with memorial overtones after Spencer’s death at age twenty-eight less than a year later. "
These pages are just so lovely I had to start sharing them with you. They are pretty aged/dirty so it took me quite a bit of time to edit them (I only had time for two of them yesterday), but I think they were worth the hard work. I will edit a few more next week.
