CoffeeShop "Princess and the Pea" Lightroom Preset!

I have been slowly going through and deleting my less-than-perfect images in LR.  I am so lazy and upload all of the photos on my camera and phone and then neglect to remove any of the bad shots. And there are a bunch!  I really have trouble deleting any images of my kids, even when they are horribly out of focus.  But I am trying to overcome my image-hoarding.

They should have a hoarder show on photographers that can't purge thousands and thousands of poorly composed, unfocused images on their computer because that terrible image is little Johnny making that face you don't ever want to forget, even though you really can't make that face out because his precious little face is unfocused and partially blocked by his brother's foot.  ;-)

I have also been having fun creating more new website designs.  I am always tinkering and learning something new.  It is amazing how you can take a simple Blogger blog and easily turn it into a beautiful professional website AND get free website/image hosting.  Take that Wordpress!  ;-)

Below is my newest creation I designed last night.  Website design is quite addictive…  If you want a new website or blog design I have a Back-To-School Sale on my website/blog designs, you can read all about it here.  I would love to design a beautiful custom site for you whether it is a professional website or a family blog, and I love working with anyone (including newbies).

This morning after I got bored deleting horrible photos (after about ten minutes I want to cry tears of frustration) I decided to create a new Lightroom preset I could share with you.  I call this one "Princess and the Pea" and it is really lovely on so many different images, including floral still-life and portraits.  Usually all I have to adjust after using the preset (if anything) is the exposure setting.

Flypaper Textures sent me their newest texture pack called Pastel Painterly.  It was like Christmas in August!  I used two of their new textures on this image after running my Princess and the Pea preset; Chocolait and Rhubarb Crumble (overlay blending mode).  I love this image!

Download the CoffeeShop Princess and the Pea Lightroom 4 and 5 Preset. You can also download it here.
