Today I am posting a new tinted B&W action, Velvet Mocha Matte. This is a fully adjustable and looks great on so many different types of images. I will post a step-by-step Action UnWrapped tutorial in a future post and a editing tutorial using texture and this action. I also wrote a LR preset for this same effect and I will post that in a day or two!
When you run the action, the High Pass filter will pop up. You can adjust this, but I usually leave it at 10.
I used a beautiful image from Vanilla Tree Photography in this post.
I wanted to go further in this edit and add a texture (one of mine on this blog) and did some dodging/burning and came up with this version. This is the step-by-step tutorial. I really like this version, it is very vintage and soft.
