Celebrating Fall

It is finally fall here in Texas.  I have been so excited for it to cool down.  Here are some things I love about this time of year.

Cool days at the park with the boys.  School in the morning, parks in the afternoon.  It doesn't get better than that.

Nature studies at the park.

Yummy homemade warm-from-the-oven gluten-free chocolate chip cookies.  OK, we enjoy cookies year round, but a warm cookie on a cool day is divine.  Almond flour and coconut oil make these healthier than your normal cookie and taste better in my humble opinion.  I doubled the chocolate chips and replaced the sugar with coconut sugar.  I made them today and they are already going fast...

We are missing nothing going gluten-free.   Well, except for the goat cheese/fresh basil pizza from our favorite tiny Italian restaurant.  I do miss that pizza...

  2. I like your choices! We home educated our daughter and it was the best! We eat low-carb and I can't wait to try the pizza crust made from cauliflower -- everyone says it's great. I live in Istanbul and cauliflower is not in season right now! If you try it, let me know what you think. . .
