All Kinds of Freebies!

There are so many amazing freebies for Photoshop and Photoshop Elements out there, and I decided to post a few of them ... in case you are interested. Money is tight this time of year (but you are spending money on loved ones, right!) so why not spend some time downloading free stuff. You can have a Merry Christmas and not spend a penny.

There are two places that I swear for fonts:
I get the cutest fonts from Free Scrapbook Fonts! kevinandamanda.com/fonts Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Amazing fonts and doodles and free for personal AND commercial work. Why go anywhere else!

Another favorite place I rave about all of the time is Pixels & Ice Cream. Tons of free patterns/brushes/papers and a few very inexpensive premium goodies. I get so excited when Jennifer posts something new.

If you haven't checked out Shadowhouse Creations in a few day, hurry over there and "shop". Well, everything is free, but you will fill your computer up with amazing texture and brush downloads. I speak from experience... Check out Jerry's new Grunge Texture pack. If you once knew him as Ghostbones on Flickr, you might remember he disappeared for a while and everyone was really upset. Well, if you want the inside story of what happened, read his profile.

Want to see over 11,000 free textures? Check out Texture for Layers. And do a search on Flickr for textures, you will be in awe!

Want great free brushes/patterns/tutorials/etc? Check out
.

Deviantart is a huge free resource of everything editing; textures, brushes, patterns, actions, and tutorials for Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. The only bone to pick is there is too much and I waste too much time on that site looking at everything. :-)

Brusheezy is a great resource for free Photoshop brushes. I waste some time over there also. ;-)

This is just touching on a tiny section of freebies out there. If there is some great blog or site that has amazing freebies for editing, please comment about them on this post.

If you don't get a chance to check in before the 25th, I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! You have made this an amazing year for me, with your enthusiasm, suggestions, donations, and incredibly kind words. My family and I thank you for keeping me home with the kids, having fun making stuff up to post on this site. Blessings to you and your families!

I will still be around posting the next week, so who knows what will pop up here!

  9. Everything you provide is always so helpful. Thank you for that.
I like your new blog. Would it be possible for you to explain how you got your horizontal navigation bar with the shapes that match your header? I have been trying to figure out how to add a bar for a while now. I really love how you made it decorative. THANKS!

Amy, I will write a tutorial on making a button menubar. I found some on the web but they were so complicated. I found a super easy way to do it and I would love to share! Thanks for the great idea. :-)
