Simple Life

I sometimes get so wrapped up in my editing and blogging and emailing and household chores that I almost forget the reason I decided to stay at home with my two sons. Then I am outside watching them interacting with this amazing world and I realize that these are some of the most beautiful and satisfying days of my life. I cherish every minute of their childhood because I realize that it is so fleeting, and before I know it they will be grown-up and gone.

Beautiful post! Beautiful shot!
Isn't nice when we find out that everything we need is right there, in front of us, and that we're happy with what we have?

So true! It is so easy to get wrapped up in all the busyness...I have 5 kids, and it's so hard to remember to cherish the moment-to-moment little things. I have a TWELVE year old! So hard to believe...

Your photo is beautiful! I love the saturated colors and sweet innocence.

I wanted to thank you for the reminder. I only have 2 kids and am with them 24/7. Sometimes I get so involved in getting things done that I forget to really take the time to enjoy the little moments.

Have a wonderful day.

They do grow up so fast. The first time my oldest daughter told me she was too old to play with barbies, my heart broke.

This is SUCH a lovely image! Reminds me of the times I spent on my grandmother's farm.

This is just an awesome picture! I love the colors, and how your little boy is playing with the chickens. I am also a stay at home Mom. It is the best decision I have ever made. My little boy is worth every second! Thank you for all the wonderful actions, and for everything you do. From one stay at home Mom to another--we appreciate it!
